Angels of Sex (2012) [14 Aug 2015|10:49pm]

Subtitled. Very long drawn out MFM threeway.

From IMDB: The established relationship between university student Bruno and aspiring photographer Carla is thrown into turmoil when Bruno feels drawn to sexy karate instructor/break dancer Rai. Complications ensue.

Zac Efron, Matthew Perry, Jim Gaffigan

Was recorded by TiVo because of Gaffigan keyword. Decent on TV TBS movie.

Boys (2014)
Netflix, subtitled

Typical Boy likes Boy movie.
Sieger and Marc

Aggravation Factor: 4 out of 5

Could have ended with a sweet passion kiss instead of the typical artsy fartsy bullshit. Give us kisses and blow jobs, god damn it.

Mobile Safari Bug? Discuss. [10 Jun 2010|07:07pm]
If you have an iPhone, iPad, or Touch... Assume you have the maximum Safari sessions open, that you are leaving open for a reason. And an application wants to launch a website...Safari goes ahead and launches the page on top of one of your sessions. Doesn't leave a trace of the previous session. So that overwritten session that was open is now gone, and you can't recall what was there. (assuming you don't want to poke through the history to try to guess what you left open)

Is this a bug? Sure doesn't seem right to me. Borders on data loss.
This is really irritating me. Maybe this will go away in iOS4 if that Mobile Safari has tabs.

I was frustrated with this behavior on iPad that I sought out a different browser, but since you can't change the default browser you are kinda of stuck with Safari.

What do you think? I want to report this to Apple.

Frontier Fiesta - Sometimes It Gets Replaced [10 Mar 2009|09:52pm]

The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your first album.

or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use Photoshop, Paint, or similar to put it all together. If you don't have it, here's an online photo editor: http://www.pixlr.com

Watch the "Fidelity" video [11 Feb 2009|09:28pm]
Have you heard that Ken Starr -- and the Prop 8 Legal Defense Fund -- filed legal briefs defending the constitutionality of Prop 8 and attempting to forcibly divorce 18,000 same-sex couples that were married in California last year? The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in this case on March 5, 2009, with a decision expected within the next 90 days.

The Courage Campaign has created a video called "Fidelity," with the permission of musician Regina Spektor, that puts a face to those 18,000 couples and all loving, committed couples seeking full equality under the law.

Please watch this heartbreaking video now. If you have the same reaction that I did, you can help spread the word by sharing it with your friends ASAP -- before the Valentine's Day deadline:

The more people who see this video, the more people will understand the pain caused by Prop 8 and Ken Starr's shameful legal proceeding.

After you watch the video, please join me and over 150,000 people who have signed a letter to the state Supreme Court, asking them to invalidate Prop 8 and reject Starr's case.

Worst Gay Indy Film Ever - Windy City Incident [03 Jan 2009|08:30pm]
Has anyone seen Windy City Incident (2005)?

Wow, that movie takes BAD to a whole new level. Friends of ours NetFlixed it and said it was horrible, but we were intrigued, so we took the disc home and was like "Wow"... that is bad. I recall saying "how does something like this get funding, and make it into production and distribution?!"  Amazing.

Apple Store Adventure [06 Dec 2008|11:45am]
Have the lil man to pick up at the Syracuse airport at 3pm, so I figured this was a good time to make my Genius Bar appointment at the Apple Store to get some hardware issues resolved on my old MBP before the AppleCare runs out.

Here is my laundry list:

1. Experiencing battery problems. Low charge capacity/runtime with a battery cycle count (as shown in System Profiler) of less than 300.

2. Disc burning has always been unreliable. Have lived with this problem for years. Will not burn reliably, especially when the disc is likely close to full capacity. Have made well over 75+ bad burns.
Apple discussions show many people have problems with the  UJ-857 drive and I would like this drive replaced under AppleCare

3. Cracking Apple Key - Material workmanship issue, would like this fixed.

4. Bad noise from video card when running on Battery. That whine noise can NOT be considered normal. I previously had this MBP replaced in full because of bad video card noise when running on AC/DC power.

5. Exchange the recall power adapter for my iPhone3G. My adapter appears nice and solid, but might as well get it exchanged while I'm there.

Update... Back from Apple Store:
1. Replaced iPhone power adapter, no problem.
2. Replaced Apple key, no problem.
3. The Genius claims my battery wasn't covered, but was going to replace it anyway seeing very clearly how the battery had very little charge with the very low charge cycles. I don't know why he said that given that my battery fit the exact symptoms to the new extended warranty for battery problems. He did this neat thing where he booted my MBP off of his iPod and ran a battery check.
4. He accepted my MBP for repair of items 2 and 4 above with the return being shipped to me direct. Cool.

Adam & Steve (2005) [06 Jun 2007|09:17pm]

Fun movie. Entertaining. Catchy dance number/sequence. (If I could be taught to line dance.)

Boy meets boy. Boy loses boy. Finds Boy again, forgets. Remembers. Loses, and Finds again.

"Shit Happens!"

I liked this movie. Coming of age, coming out, bad fathers, ignorant mothers, cool brothers.

Michael McMillian, akward cutie. :-)

Yes, I have seen both of the Garfield movies.

Garfield (2004)

Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties (2006)

Today was the 2nd on on HBO. Just "caught it" and figured why not. Garfield wasn't the best in CG, but eh.

RIP Little Plumpy White [25 Mar 2007|04:20pm]
Today when removing the ice slab floating on the fish pond, I discovered that the Little Plumpy White Fantail died. He was one of two white fantails that came with Rachel. The big white fantail is ok and has made the winter.

One smaller gold fish (spring 2005) seems like he might not be doing well, as he was not swimming around like the other fish.

When it warms up, I hope to move the one Spring 2006 baby from the aquarium to the pond. He was the gold fish miracle baby. He was discovered by accident. Taking some algae off the pond last summer for an outdoor aquarium with snails, a few weeks later a little baby emerged. I then took him inside to develop over the winter.
